More than 95% of all hair conditioners available contain at least one form of silicone. Silicones provide very shiny hair but they coat the scalp and pores as equally as they do the hair. Many dermatologists believe that silicones are a primary cause of premature baldness. Silicone also coats the hair to the point where it seals it off leaving hair with a limp-inducing build-up.

Instead of silicone, this product contains Brassica oil which has a low acidity level which mirrors the scalp's natural condition. The companion Mangrove shampoo will also wash away (it takes about 7-days) existing silicone coating the hair shaft, creating fuller hair with shine and manageability.
